Dr. Amal M. J. A. Mulla obtained her bachelor degre in geography and education from King Abdulaziz University, Mekkah, KSA in ???, her Master degree in ??? from King Seoud University, Riyadh, KSA, majoring Agricultural geography. From Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt, in ???, she got a PhD degree in environmental geography. She worked as a geography teacher for preparatory and secondary levels. After her Master degree she was engaged as a customer service employee at National Commercial Bank, as geography teacher in geography department Faculty of Girls Education in Jeddah. After her PhD, she took the position of demonstrator and lecturer of Georaphy in geography department Faculty of Girls Education in Jeddah. She participated in many conferences, symposia and workshops related to her specialty. She is member in many scientific sicieties and participates in a scientific project funded by the university. She published some scientific papers in her field.
Research Interests
Her research interest focuses on the study of the efect of anthropogenic geographical factors on the mean crops productivity, as well as, studies related to environmental geography especially in what cancerns environmental pollution. She has special interest in applying the remote sensing techniques in the field of location environmental changes, and the use of GIS (geographic information systems). She is also concerned with medical geography as an important field in community services.
